Home At Last

We made it home!  We had a wonderful last day at Windy Peak.  We all woke up early, brought our luggage to the bus, ate breakfast, then did some major cleaning.  Before leaving we also had one last meal, a bagged brunch in the cafeteria.  We were able to show our gratitude to the many people who made our Outdoor Lab week a success, including our high school leaders, interns, principal, maintenance workers, and the students of course.  We gave out the last "Golden Broom" award to the Columbine girls.  Then, we unveiled the final day of points... Colorow got a PERFECT score!!!  In honor of this, Windy Peak staff bestowed upon us a trophy that they very rarely give out... They loved our kids, and we are all so proud of their success and growth this week.

When we got back, it was wonderful to see all of you there to welcome us.  I appreciate all the positive comments about our blog.  I'm glad we could keep you connected to your kiddos as they spent the week away from home.
