We had a beautiful afternoon with really warm weather. Students enjoyed another core class this afternoon full of hikes and learning.
After dinner, students watched a Malachite Mountain Man tell about history. He passed around pelts and told many stories. He brought many mountain man tools to share with the students.
Then the students learned about Colorado mammals. They had a hands-on experience learning about pelts, habitats, and adaptations. They learned about antlers, bears, bobcats, and many small mammals.
Many cabins got a refreshing shower this evening and then went straight to bed. The students are having a lot of fun and they are very tired.
